Carnival Week 2008
So we are
finally here! What is instore this year?
Of course we're not going
to give you the full programme as we'd like you to buy one
of our 64 page full colour programmes with all events,
timings, free funfair ride voucher and competitions. They
cost £2 each and are available from 85% of businesses in
Dawlish.
To the right is a list of
just some of the events but our programme starts at 10am
every morning through to 10pm every day except Sunday 10th
(we finish at 8.15 - gives us all chance to rest from the
36hr setup period before the bulk of the week begins!).
If you live outside the
town e-mail treasurer @ dawlishcarnival.co.uk to purchase
one by post
All events in the area are free to watch, some
competitions have minimal entry fees as do most events taking place in the
Marquee Also running all week we have side stalls,
a bouncy castle, a static wildlife display, funfair rides, hot food and
refreshments in the marquee and even Paintball! AND
have a number of street entertainers, magic and Punch and Judy shows going on
all week as well! |
