How to get to Dawlish

By Air : The nearest international airports are Exeter and Bristol Airports. Connections from all other airports in the UK are easily made.

By Sea : There are regular ferry services between Plymouth (35 mile SW of Dawlish) and France and Spain.

By Rail : Dawlish is on the main line to Plymouth and Penzance in Cornwall, Virgin Trains and Great Western both stop at Dawlish Station, local services to and from Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth are run by Wessex Trains. South West trains from London Waterloo also stop at Exeter and Dawlish.

By Bus : National Express run regular services to Exeter with one bus stopping in Dawlish daily from London (Service 501). Stagecoach Devon's route numbers 85A and 85 both run through Dawlish and Dawlish Warren

By Road (from North) : Once on the M5 motorway, exit at Junction 30 and take the A379 to Dawlish (approx 12 miles from M5)

By Road (from South Devon / Cornwall) : Exit A38 Northbound at Newton Abbot junction then once in Newton Abbot take the A381 to Teignmouth where you meet the A379/B3199 to take you straight to Dawlish (approx 3 miles).
